Welcome to the Center for Writing and Scholarship!
The CWS will soft open the week of August 31st, and our full schedule should be available starting September 8th, the day after Labor Day. The PODs (see below) is currently open for 1:1 consultations.
Please create an account if this is your first visit. When you log in, please select the schedule you want to book an appointment with. We have writing consultations in person and over Zoom, and our P2PODs folks are available through Zoom.
What's the difference? A writing consultation will focus on your writing process and help you with a writing task. P2PODs (Peer to Peer Organized Dialogues) mentors are here to support you with more general academic questions and concerns, such as time management, working with your instructors, and insight into the CIIS community.
You can book a 50-minute writing consultation up to once a week, and you can also meet with a PODs person once a week for 30 or 60 minutes.

If you are looking for a writing consultation on Zoom and do not see available appointments, please be sure to use the wait list and we will be in touch if we can find someone to offer an extra session.
